Unspoken Pandemic

Currently in the United States children and teens are experiencing an overwhelming amount of isolation, confusion, stress, and lack of support for their mental health and developmental needs. Parents are searching for ways to support their children and teens and at times may feel lost or that they have a lack of resources to provide for their children. At the Magnuson Mazzoni Center PLLC, I am dedicated to providing children and teens with the resources, support, skills, and therapeutic methods to prevent the long-term negative effects of stress, anxiety, traumatic events, depression, lack of emotional regulation skills, and feeling overwhelmed can do on a child. My goal is to support children and teens while they are experiencing significant life events and early signs of mental health symptoms to prevent the negative impact they have on young individuals. With early therapy and support children and teens can learn healthy life skills, overcome significant life challenges, develop healthy relationship skills, and achieve healing from traumatic experiences.
